If you plan to use memory foam mattresses, you’ll need a flat surface to keep the mattress from sinking into the slats. We offer two options.The first is two 1/8” thick masonite boards for $165. This includes one for each sleeping platform. The second option is to buy additional slats for $190. These options are available as Accessories when you build your bed.

We sell our own memory foam mattresses that you can purchase with your Adult Bunk Bed. Like our bed frames, every 10-inch mattress is custom made to order. You have the option to choose from five firmness options based on your preference.Mattresses can be added to your order as Accessories when you’re building your bed, or purchased separately here.

You can detach the ladder and use it on any side of the top bunk frame. It securely clips to the aluminum frame and will not move when it’s in use.The standard for beds built for a 9’ ceiling is for the ladder to extend 20” from the end of the bed. We offer a shorter version that extends 13 inches from the bed at no additional cost. For $30, we can create a ladder that extends only 6 inches from the bed frame. This option is available as an Accessory when you build your bed.
Staircase
For an additional fee, you can add a matching wooden staircase to your Twin Over Full L-Shaped Bunk Bed. The staircase supports up to 500 lbs. It also has open cubbies beneath the steps for extra storage space. You can also add a handrail for the staircase as an Accessory when building your bed.The dimensions of the different staircase options are:
