    • Yep! We think the headboard is an important part of the standard bed, so we’ve incorporated it into the price. Please email or call if you’d interested in ordering without the headboard for a discount.

    • The headboard is constructed with an aluminum frame that supports the foamed wrapped plywood. The headboard is covered with a fabric material. The material can be removed and washed.

    • Very high quality aluminum. The 4x4” aluminum square extrusions produce a very robust, sturdy bed that is also lightweight.

    • Paint is baked onto the aluminum in the extrusion process, which results in the most durable painted aluminum surface.

    • 2,000 pounds!

    • Approximately 300 pounds, depending on the type of bed and the accessories.

    • The mattress is supported by a bunkie board system. We use really durable 2x4” and 2x8” pieces of wood, which provide ample support for up to 2,000 pounds of weight capacity. To learn more, check out our brochure.

      If you have a memory foam mattress or need to rest your mattress on a solid surface, we can modify the platform with a piece of plywood that rests on top of the slats ($100 fee).

    • The standard staircase for beds with 8' and 9' ceiling height is 21" wide x 60" long x 48" high. If you order a bed with 10' ceiling height, it will be 60" high. We can do a special staircase for the twin and full size beds with 8' and 9' ceiling height only - 21" wide x 48" long x 48" high - must specify in notes when ordering.

    • The staircase is made out of 3/4" Birch Plywood.

    • The staircase has been tested to hold at least 500 pounds.

    • Yes, the cubby openings are on both sides which allow you you to place the staircase on either end of the bed.

    • Yes.

    • We can make the ladder so it sticks out only a couple of inches from the bed. Additional fee will be applied.

    • No. You can use a standard mattress. If you have a memory foam mattress, we recommend that you use either a bunkie board or plywood to lay on the slats for a solid surface, since they are a lot softer than standard mattresses.

    • The ladder is designed to be placed anywhere around the bed - even with sides that have the guard rail.

    • Yes.

    • No.

    • We recommend mattress thickness to be 8”-12”. You can have thicker mattress, but a special side rail will be needed for an additional fee.

    • Yes. You might have tighter headrooms, but contact us to see what we can do for you.

    • Yes. The x-braces keep the bed stable.

    • Yes. As long as the x-braces are on 3 sides of the bed, it will not affect the stability of the bed.

    • Yes. Some accessories you might need to drill holes for, but we will send you instructions.

    • Box springs are not necessary on our beds. It will take away from valuable headspace.

    • No. The bookshelf is flush with the bed. NOTE: If you order a loft bed with bookshelf, the bed will be 8” longer like the bunk beds to be able to support the bookshelf and mattress.

    • Yes. We do customized height and lengths on the bed. Call us to find out what additional fees will be applied.

    • Yes. The bed does not lose any integrity by being disassembled and reassembled. Make sure to keep track of your hardware!

    • We do not offer a lighter version at this time.

    • YES!

    • The staircase can be painted to match the color of the bed or stained in 7 different colors. Please let us know what color you want when placing order under the Special Notes.

    • Curbside delivery - beds come in easy to grip boxes that are banded and shrink wrapped to a skid. When truck arrives, cut the band and shrink wrap and begin to pull off boxes individually and carry into your home.

    • The standard loft has 4 boxes and 1 bundle of wood and bunks have 5 boxes and 2 bundles of wood. If you have accessories, there could be additional boxes for them.

    • Varies upon size, but here is an example of what the Queen Bunk w/9’ Ceiling has:

    • No. Since we sell directly to customers on the internet, we do not have a showroom for you to look at the bed.

    • We recommend you have 2 people to assemble the bed for balancing and ease of assembly. It can take a couple of hours to install if you have a bunk bed.

    • You will not need any additional tools. We supply everything you need to assemble the bed.
