I've had this bed for over a year now and I can't believe it's been that long! It still looks and feels brand new. I scratched it while assembling it but I can't find the scratch now and I have managed with very little effort to not damage it over the year since. I chose white and it blends really nicely with the walls, too. It was pretty easy to assemble with the help of a friend. This is mainly because items are bulky. It didn't otherwise require special strength and was no more complicated to assemble than a bed frame from IKEA. Simpler, actually, due to the video and clearly marked components. As a California native my first concern with loft beds is EARTHQUAKES. I chose this bed for its safety. The construction of this loft bed resembles our Bay Area bridges, it should flex but not break during an earthquake, which is ideal. From daily use I have never so much as seen or heard it budge. It doesn't creak, it doesn't move, it is solid as a rock! I feel more concerned about my cat or myself falling off due to our own stupidity than from an earthquake. But the bed rails are VERY sturdy and I have never had a problem or cause for concern. This should last as many years as I need it. I purchased the tallest option to place a home office underneath. This has worked really well. I am nearly 6' tall and I can enter and exit by tilting my head. It definitely took some getting used to but, once in the office area, I have plenty of headroom and it feels quite separate and spacious. This bed has transformed my tiny apartment into a functional space and I don't know how I survived without it. My only concern is taking it with me to my next home!

Well, I love everything about it: style, quality, how perfectly solid it is and feels and more. I put it together all on my own, as the precision placement of holes and nuts was spot on. I know it was on the pricey side, but I am glad I went with it. Since I work from home, I wanted a way to maximize my small bedroom/office space and I am able to get my new desk, 49"" Samsung Curved screen monitor, with 2 24"" monitors on each end and file cabinet under the bed and works perfect. I found and purchased a bench from VEVORE that is only about 20"" deep and fits exactly between both leg posts on the opposite end of my computer desk, it is so perfect that people think that it was custom-made and came with the bed. I like the quality of the latter, but I am 60 and latter climbing is not for me, and any step options always had one crawling into bed from the foot of the bed, not for me. So I built my own steps and deck along the back length of the bed rather than the width, so now I have a wood topped milk crate (purchase brand new on Amazon for about $400) which were black also, and matches the bed perfect, and now I just climb comfortable steps to a long deck and climb in bed as if I was still on the floor. I tried for years to purchase a loft bed with such a step-up deck, but no one understood what I was trying to accomplish. They wanted to give someone an adult loft bed, but still getting in and out like a child. There is no other bed like this on the market that I saw that even came close to this bed, I was not crazy about the cost, but the perfect quality and the solid this bed is and was very well planned out, I can not imagine any other bed that would be so solid even placed against a wall and this one is solid standing on its own. So in my case, this was perfect for me and I find it well worth the cost for a superior built bed. I do love the lighter weight aluminum frame and the coating is perfect. So thank you for this product.

This bed is amazing. My room is a small cube, but I never really want for space. I also bought the built in desk, and wow. That's a lot of desk. Those of you with multi monitor setups or home studios will be happy with how much there is to play with. It's also exceptionally solid. I have a purple hybrid 4 on it, a very tall and very heavy mattress. After a month of paranoia, checking the bolts and looking for bending, I found absolutely no movement or play.
