Will my Wood Bunk Bed for Adults look exactly like the pictures? Not exactly! We handcraft our Wood Bunk Beds from natural wood. Variations in color, grain, knots, and texture are inherent with these materials. These elements add to the unique custom nature of each piece. They are not considered defects and do not warrant a replacement or refund.

Does the Wood Bunk Bed for Adults require a special type of mattress?
No. The wooden slats support most innerspring or foam-based mattresses. We recommend a mattress between 8-12 inches. We sell our own 10-inch memory foam mattress that can be ordered here.

Will I need a box spring?
Box springs are not necessary on the Wood Bunk Bed for Adults. In fact, we recommend not using one to avoid wasting valuable headspace.

How is the ladder attached to the bed frame?
The ladder uses brackets to securely clip onto the bed frame.

Can the ladder only be placed in one spot on the loft bed frame?
Yes, the ladder stays securely connected to the access opening at the foot of the bed frame. However, the ladder is detachable and can be removed from the frame as needed.

How far does the ladder extend?
The length that the ladder extends from the Wood Loft Bed frame depends on what ceiling height your bed is built for. It will stick out approximately 17-19.5” depending on the height of the bed.

Can you build custom size wooden bunk beds?
We can build custom wood bunk beds to any dimensions within reason. If the size that you’re looking for isn’t available on our website, you can contact us directly with your request. There is a customization fee of $65, plus $40 per foot.
